No News is Good News?

June 9, 2015

Ok so several months, possibly a years worth of them, have transpired since our (my) last update.  Certainly many things have happened here at Fly’s Eye HQ in the past year.  Just take my (our) word for it.  Even though no updates have been reported here, we (I) try and at least post new videos as they are completed.  After all, it’s the fruits of my (our) labors that folks care about most.  Right?  Right?  But here we (I) are (am), another year passed with no news posts.  I (we) would promise to get better about it, but let’s stop kidding ourselves.  We (I) had to dig through my (our) gmail archives for 10 minutes just to find the log-in info for this site.

In other news, Do I Sound Gay, the feature doc that I (I) DP’d is getting its theatrical release this summer.  Starting in July at IFC in NYC..and other cities around the country.  Check here for more info: http://www.doisoundgay.com

2014 Quarterly report

May 20, 2014

Lot’s of great progress to report so far in 2014.  In the feature doc category, a film that I worked on as a part-time DP premiered at Sundance.  It’s called “To Be Takei” and it tells the unbelievable life story of actor/activist/and all around lovely human being…George Takei.  And there’s another feature documentary in which I served as the primary cinematographer.  It’s in the final days of a crowdfunding campaign and I would surely appreciate it if you clicked on over and considered helping it reach its goal.  It’s called “Do I Sound Gay” and I promise you…it is one of the funniest, sincerest, unique-est docs you’ll ever see. Click here to check it out.

Fundraising Has Begun!

March 1, 2011

We are very excited to announce the launch of our IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds to pay for all the services needed to finish the film – things like color correction, sound design and mix, musical score and all those little last minute edits that we’ll surely want to make!

We’ve posted a teaser video for the film and more details about our fundraising campaign at http://www.indiegogo.com/YouHaveTheRightToAnAttorney
Just as exciting, since we are fiscally sponsored, all contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
